Bandage International is a group of emergency medicine professionals: paramedics, nurses and doctors.
We are committed to teaching emergency health responders in developing countries. Our mission is to improve safety by improving primary emergency medical care.
Our current projects involve Belize, Central America and Guyana, South America. We are working to improve the training of layperson first responders and professional emergency medical caregivers to improve the safety of the people in these countries.
Bandage International was nominated in June, 2007 by the United States Consul-General to Nova Scotia to attend the White House Conference on the Americas, held in July 2007.
Bandage International is a registered charity with Revenue Canada and all of it’s members are volunteers. All the funds for our projects are raised by donations and fundraising events.
